1. When do I need an ATF?

If your team is travelling to a tournament or exhibition game outside of your home district, you will need approval from the district organization. You do not need an ATF for a tournament or exhibition games run within your own district. You do not need an ATF for Scheduled League games or Ontario Cup games.

2. How do I apply for an ATF for a tournament within North America?
Start at the OSA’s website: http://ctms.ontariosoccer.net/

You will need to create a login for use on the website.
Once logged in:

For a Tournament in Ontario:
1.Click on the Dashboard Tab
2. Scroll down to Search for the Tournament you want to attend
3. Click the Tournament's name to open the details
4. Click the link that says: If you want to apply for an ATF, click here
5. Fill out your team information - The Tournament information will be autofilled
6. Click Save and Submit

For a Tournament outside Ontario or an Exhibition Game:
1. Click on the Dashboard Tab
2. Click the Option for ATF (Application to travel Form)
3. Fill out the Competition and Team information
4. Click Save and Submit

3. What do I do once I’ve filled out all the information?
Once the ATF application is complete, and you clicked Saved and Submit, you will be able to verify all the information you have just entered. Go to the My Applications Tab and Search Application Type: ATF and Application Status: Pending. This will bring up the ATF you just submitted. Click on the Pencil Icon to view all the information. You will now need to e-mail your club to request approval for the ATF.

4. What information do I put in the email?
Send your club official an email with a subject line that includes the Application Number, your team name and the dates you are travelling.

If the tournament you want to attend is located outside Ontario, you will also need to send your club a copy of the tournament’s Permission to Host document. This proves that the tournament has been sanctioned by their local governing soccer organization. The Permission to Host can usually be found on the tournament’s website. If it is not there, please contact the tournament’s director. This also applied for Exhibition Games.

5. What happens after I submit the ATF?
Your club official will verify the ATF and approve it online. The EODSA will review the ATF for approval.
Once it has been approved you will be able to print off the Approved ATF online:
1. Go back to My Applications and Search Application Status: Approved by District.
2. Click on the Eyeball Icon beside the application.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the permit and Click Print.
You are responsible for providing the approved ATF to the tournament.

6. What is the fee for an ATF for a tournament within North America?
There is a $20 fee payable to the EODSA. Please contact your individual club for information about paying for the ATF.

7. When do I need to submit an ATF for a tournament within North America?
Please submit the ATF at least two weeks before the day you are planning to travel.

8. What do I do if my team wants to attend a tournament outside of North America?
Submit an ATF through the OSA’s site,  but make sure to select the Jurisdiction option from the drop-down list at the bottom that says Outside of Canada and USA.

Along with the ATF application and the permission to host, you will need to email your club proof of out-of-country insurance for all of the players on your team.

An ATF for a tournament outside North America takes longer to process because it needs to be approved by the EODSA, the OSA and the CSA. Please submit the ATF for a tournament outside North America at least one month before the day you are planning to travel.

The fee for a tournament outside Canada and the USA is $150.

9. What do I put under “Team Name” and "Team OSA#" on the ATF form?
Please refer to your OSA Team Roster as this information will be found on there.

Example: U13BL5 Premier Red

Please contact your Club if you are unsure of what to put in this section.

10. What are some common mistakes made while submitting ATFs?
Please ensure you enter the correct Team Name and OSA# from the OSA Team Roster.
Please ensure you enter the correct dates of the Tournament or Exhibition Game.
